We will be having coffee and discussions on Magick, Thelema, Qabalah, Gnosticism, Rosicrucianism, Tarot, ceremonial magick, philosophy, religion, the O.T.O., and various other topics of mystic adventure.

I am currently trying to arrange for space at a local coffee shop. If one becomes available I'll post by at least Tuesday the 17th, otherwise we'll do this in my downtown office.

BTW, I accidentally set the meetup for Masonry and Magick for next week so tonight we're meeting up for just a general meeting. I apologize to everyone, if you get this in time though you are more than welcome to join us.

Arabica Mystica (Dayton)

Join us for what will be the first of free workshops in Ritual Magic. Our intention is to practice Magick and not just talk about it. These classes and group ritual will be slow and methodical, making sure everyone is on the same page before we move on.

With the exception of this first meeting, fellow-Students Magicians are expected to have read the assigned material and practiced the ritual prior to class. It is also suggested that fellow-Students Magicians keep a notebook in which to record impressions of the Ritual before session and impressions of the Ritual after our session.

The primary text of this series is "The Ritual Magic Manual: A Complete Course in Practical Magic". Editions of this book are available commercially on the Internet.

We will be covering the Sings, The Rite of the Qabalistic Cross, Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, Middle Pillar and Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram in Chapter One.

Also, the area is close enough to make a day trip out of it.

Eye protection (even if you are not pounding rocks, others are)
Dress for the weather (there is little cover and it can get cool quickly)
Sun screen as there is little shade
Items to bring

A chair
Food and/or beverage to share
Warm and cool weather clothing
Sunscreen and Bug spray
Picnicware (plates, silverware, cups)
Sites have fire pits for cooking but no BBQ facility (no racks on the pits to cook on)
A tent if you are staying overnight (don't forget a warm sleeping bag)
A shovel, hammer, and rake are good to have if you want to hunt for diamonds
There are fees for camping ad mining. Please see the Ace of Diamonds website for details.
