The Boleskine House, located on the southeastern shore of Loch Ness in Scotland was owned by Crowley from 1899 to 1913, during which he attempted to perform the Abramelin ritual, a complex magic ceremony aimed at contacting one's guardian angel (well, let's not go into the debate about the HLA here). I have visited the area and graveyard just in front of it several times, but never visited the house itself out of respect for the owners at the time. In recent history, the house has faced several misfortunes, including a fire in 2015 that severely damaged the property, and another fire in 2019, amidst efforts to restore and preserve the site. The website offers some basic information, ability to donate or buy non-Crowleyana merchandise.

Directed by Robert Garofalo and narrated by actor Joss Ackland this two hour long film is no doubt one of the better, perhaps best, attempts to portrait Crowley's life in film format ( IMBD review). It explores Crowley's complex character, his philosophical and magical teachings, his contributions to occult practices, and the sensationalised myths surrounding him. Through a mix of dramatisations, historical footage, and expert interviews, the documentary aims to shed light on the man behind the moniker "The Wickedest Man in the World," providing insight into his pursuit of hidden knowledge and his impact on modern occultism and pop culture.

There is probably little to say about this. Thelemapedia is the "wikipedia-like" encyclopedia of Thelema and Magick focusing on the works and philosophy of Aleister Crowley. Yet another excellent project of the Scarlet Woman Lodge. Hundreds of articles to get you started.

Right now I'm aware of two forks (some content has been copied and/or modified under license from the aforementioned site) of Thelemapedia of some significance: The Free Encyclopedia of Thelema and LAShTAL.com's version, the Encyclopedia Thelemica.

Just wanted to share a picture with you that I took last Saturday, 28th Feb 2009 e.v. in Cairo. As you can see, the stélé (Translation) is still in great condition.

For the few of you, who may not know it yet, it is located in room 22 of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. That particular room has funerary objects from the valley of the kings, including a good dozen or so different stelae of which the Stélé of Revealing really stands out in terms of beauty, size and condition of the colours.

I just felt like sharing this small video I recorded at yesterdays Marc Almond show at the Roundhouse in Camden, London. "The Tango Song" was written by Aleister Crowley with music by Bernard Page; based on the sketch called "The Tango" published in Equinox Vol I, No 9 in March 1913. Pay special attention to 2:30 ;-)

Thanks for visiting 'The 93 Current' website.

Some may remember this site as a hopefully useful source of information on all the different thelemic currents out there. Well, until I stopped updating the site about 5 years ago and took it off-line some months ago.

I commented on the various reasons in the past. For the moment let it be known that I am currently thinking about a revival of the site and am working on a concept and the required technical details.

If I will actually kick off this project again, I can already tell you that it will be kinda small. Core item of the site will be the URL collection again, like it used to be. I have no intention whatsoever to turn this into a larger project in competion with the great quality websites like LAShTAL.com.

Anyway, for now there is nothing more to say and alot of work to be done, so stay tuned. I don't expect a launch until later in 2008 e.v.

The UK Grand Lodge under Hyperion X° was eastablished on the 1st of May 2005 e.v. at a celebratory Gnostic Mass at Conway Hall in Red Lion Square, London. 93 years to the month after the previous X° for the U.K., Aleister Crowley, was elevated to that office.

Liber Call Me Al (The Book of the Inlaws) is a really funny parody of Liber AL vel Legis, which was first published around 1988 in volume III of the 'Baphomet Breeze', a periodical of the no longer existing Baphomet Lodge in L.A. You still find copies on the internet. Check out volume III, number 2 for an equally hillarious 'Thelemic Language Lesson' that still mirrors a lot of the attitude amongst Thelemites. ;-)

If you are looking for decent PDF copies of many libri and other writings, then this is the place for you. The site has a basic FTP look and feel, but don't be put off by that. It actually works quite well with download managers. Also worth to point out that this seems to be run by or at least holds contact information for the UR-OTO, a group I have no first hand experience with.

The Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn (Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·.) is dedicated to the teachings of Aleister Crowley, Thelema and the Golden Dawn. It was founded by Dr. Christopher S. Hyatt (Frater Adonai Achad) and David Cherubim (aka Frater Aurora Aureae). The website gives a version of the history of this order, but in a nutshell Hyatt was initiated into the Golden Dawn by Israel Regardie and in 1990 he initiated Cherubim and shortly after they founded the T.'G.'.D.'. together. In 1994 ev they parted company, Cherubim left the 'Hermetic Temple and Order of the Golden Dawn' and OTO, which he had joined in 1985, and coninued to run the TGD. Please note that I have no direct connection or interest, so I am actually not sure if this URL still aligns with the group formerly presenting itself at http://thelemicgoldendawn.net

TGD is based on a system of self initiation and correspondence and the website provides all the details as well as other documents and links, such as David's personal website, the Myspace Aleister Crowley Foundation etc.

According to IAO131 the "first academic, non-partisan journal dedicated to Thelema, the psycho-spiritual religious tradition of Aleister Crowley". At the time of this entry there have been three editions so far, but already an impressive list of authors and the website also hosts a small forum and a news sections as well as the Thelema Talk, basically virtual interviews with some Thelemites that got some attention on YouTube.

This is the A.'A.'. accepted by and "linked" with the OTO in the sense of membership overlap and contact information publication. In the past this was often stated to be a lineage through Soror Grimaud (Helen Parsons Smith), though I technically it is actually ironically a Motta via J. Daniel Gunther lineage. Clarification would be welcome.
